Here We Go Again!
Bush is pushing now, making his case for war with Iran. Where is the outrage? Better yet, where are the rest of our so-called representatives? Who the hell is standing up trying to reign this idiot in? Are we really going to buy into this bullshit AGAIN?

CRAWFORD – The US rationale for war in Iraq has morphed from ousting strongman Saddam Hussein, to countering Al-Qaeda militants to its latest incarnation — facing down what officials in President George W. Bush’s administration call the Iranian “threat”.
“Iraq is the convergence point for two of the greatest threats to America in this new century: Al-Qaeda and Iran,” Bush said last week, renewing accusations that the Islamic republic is backing Iraqi militias hostile to US forces and covertly seeking nuclear weapons.
“If we succeed in Iraq after all that Al-Qaeda and Iran have invested there, it would be a historic blow to the global terrorist movement and a severe setback for Iran,” he said.
With Saddam dead and Al-Qaeda weakened — according to Bush — Iranian-financed extremists, which top US commander in Iraq David Petraeus has called “special groups,” have emerged as a key reason for maintaining US troop levels in Iraq.
“Unchecked, the ’special groups’ pose the greatest long-term threat to the viability of a democratic Iraq,” Petraeus said last week as he told US lawmakers of military strategy in Iraq for the coming months.
However, exactly what steps the United States may take to counter this “threat” remain unclear, and depend largely on Bush’s decisions in his remaining nine months in the White House.

If anyone still had any doubts that this maniac in the White House wants a war with Iran, I hope this clears the picture up for you. Seriously, since when did America start running around building empires? Though I keep reading we’ve been doing just that for the longest time, it’s only since this fool stole the presidency and managed to brainwash enough sheeple to re-elect him that we seem to be doing exactly what we have always condemed others of doing.
This man’s agenda scares me. He needs to be stopped and Congress needs to get off their collective fat asses and stop him before someone’s starts a Nuclear War!

Bush believes he can forcefully enact moral change upon other countries. While extremist Islam is at moral odds with freedom and democracy, it’s a mistake to think one can force a people to accept freedom and democracy—in fact, it’s a logical fallacy.

I totally agree with you here. That’s why I’m so happy to see HR 24 come into being. House Resolution 24 is going before Congress and it is to Impeach dubya and cheney! Long live America as She was meant to be, not as tyrants would have Her be!

JMT, They can’t impeach them fast enough for me……….too bad no one had the spine to do so 6-7 years ago.
BL, I totally agree. What’s hypocritical is his talking about Islamic fanatics wanting to force us all to their belief, while at the same time trying to force OUR ways on them! The man has no brains.
