Another State to Force Vaccinations

As reported in the Seattlepi Friday, New Jersey has just made it mandatory for all pre-schoolers to have flu vaccines if they are in pre-school or day care.

NJ requires flu shots for preschoolers
TRENTON, N.J. — New Jersey on Friday became the first state to require flu shots for preschoolers, saying their developing immune systems and likelihood of spreading germs make them as vulnerable to complications as the elderly.

State Health Commissioner Dr. Fred M. Jacobs approved the requirement and three other vaccines over the objections of some parent groups.

Starting in September, all children attending preschool or licensed day care centers will have to get an annual flu shot, Jacobs said. That makes New Jersey the first state to require flu shots for preschoolers or older students, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Preschoolers are being targeted because their developing immune systems make them as susceptible to flu complications as senior citizens, and because they are more likely than older kids to spread the virus, state health officials say.

I understand about children and their developing immune systems, but it seems to me that the immune system strengthens when it is used. Meaning that getting germs and sick isn’t always a bad thing. With all the controversey over vaccinations and long term ill-effects of them, I have to wonder why the sudden push to force even more vaccinations on anyone, let alone children whose immune systems are trying to get stronger.

  1. Thanks for blogging on this important issue. Forced drugging, including compulsory vaccination, endangers all of our children. I see that you have a link on your blog to Natural Solutions Foundation. Thanks for that too. Please ask everyone to go to the NSF web site, and sign up for the eAlert email list for important information about compulsory vaccination and other health freedom issues.

  2. How dare they FORCE vaccination? That in itself should be criminal. It is just another stomp on the yolk of tyranny they place us under. If I were living in NJ, I’d move……
