About Our Constitution…

I linked to this piece today, from another source (damned if I can remember which one now…..I’m going to claim age related memory loss here as I’m about to turn 55……yeah, that’s it, my story and I’m sticking to it…LOL).

How fitting that I stumbled across this as it ties in so well with the last quote from JFK that I posted today.

Over at Reason Online, they apparently held a two-day conference back in October. Here is a VIDEO from that conference of Andrew Napolitano’s talk (approximately 40 minutes):

Fox News legal analyst Judge Andrew Napolitano is among the fiercest defenders of individual rights. Both in his daily appearances on the country’s most-watched cable news network and in a series of books (most recently, A Nation of Sheep), Napolitano consistently and defiantly argues that the only legitimate government is that which respects its citizens rights in all cases.
In late October, Napolitano gave the keynote address at the conference Reason in DC, where he delivered a spellbinding speech that blended a masterful understanding of American history with a blazing outrage at the excesses of the new security state. “Who [is] the greatest violator of the Constitution?” asks Napolitano. “George W. Bush has shown less fidelity to the Constitution than any president since Abraham Lincoln.”

One Response to “About Our Constitution…”

  1. George Walker Bush is a criminal. Because he swore an oath to uphold the Constitution and then blatantly went about dismantling it and claimed, “It’s just a God-damned piece of paper!”, I believe he should have been impeached years ago! Why the Congress is so limp-dicked about him I can’t understand. We can’t trust those we elect anymore. Oh, and Dick Chaney is right there too! Make no mistake, I knew they were sleaze from the moment I laid eyes on them.
