Fear Mongering To Sell War……And Again

One thing I noticed shortly after 9/11 was the constant barrage of terms designed to instill fear in the people. Apparently it worked for far too many are way to willing to give up their freedom for the illusion of security. Why an illusion? Think about it a minute…..we are made to jump through hoops when we fly. We can’t bring normal sized bottles of anything past security gates. We have to take our shoes off so they can be scanned. We can’t carry anything that slightly resembles an object that maybe could be used as a weapon.

BUT our government was going to sell our major ports to an Middle East outfit. Our Southern border is wide open. The president is making deals with Canada and Mexico to merge us into one union. There are works underway to create the NAFTA superhighway from Mexico up to Canada. Our military just made a deal with the Canadian military for cross training, so we each can enter the other’s country to assist in “military” control if needed. Military control in America? WHY?

So I ask you, with all this other stuff going on, does all that hassle at the airport really make you feel safer? It’s just an illusion, so you won’t notice everything else they are NOT doing to protect you. They offered you Kool-Aid and you all drank it and asked for more.

Fear-Mongering: How Bush Built Up Bin Laden

Watch it and wonder. How did we ever let this happen?

It is a 72-minute documentary, Leading to War, which is available free for streaming over the Internet. With minimal commentary, the film follows current and former Bush Administration officials as they make their case for invading Iraq to remove Saddam Hussein from power. It documents many of their 935 specific lies.

Going back to January 2002 through the launch of hostilities in March of 2003, Leading to War recounts how the Bushies mounted a campaign of mass distraction that would do the propagandists of George Orwell’s novels and his political essays proud. Orwell’s Politics and the English Language should be required reading for every U.S. high school senior.

Leading To War

I strongly suggest you watch this video. !Listen! You will see the same template being used today with regards to Iran as was used a few short years ago to convince us that war against Iraq was the only solution.

I knew he was going to attack Iraq back in 2002….you could feel it with every report, press conference, interview, etc with the president and any member of the administration. The same thing is happening now only the target is Iran.

How much longer are we going to go along with this tyrant pretending he’s the president of the Free World?

I leave you with a few quotes by Benjamin Franklin:

Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety.

It is the first responsibility of every citizen to question authority.

Democracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote!

Make yourselves sheep and the wolves will eat you.
