  1. Have you read the negative effects these studies are having on eating disordered people? I’d love to see a study of how much eating disorders have been reported in the last 20 years…some of that may be now we’re taking it serioulsy, but I’m willing to bet a good portion is from the world encouraging disordered behavior.

  2. I haven’t seen or heard of any actual stories, but I have read that many people ARE concerned that eating disorders will be on the rise because of all this “war on obesity” shit. Hell doctors are even doing gastric bypass surgery on teens now and thinking of lowering the age for that surgery to like 9 or 10 years old. I think that is so sad, not to mention dangerous.

  3. I know that it’s been shown there’s an increase in teen eating disorders, but I can’t remember where I saw it. Mainly in schools that do weigh ins and such.
